BOOKINGS Please email Deborah at [email protected] or use the Contact Form to arrange an introductory visit so we can meet with you and your pets. There will be a little bit of paperwork to do and we can gain familiarity with your pet and home routine, and in turn we can go through any questions you have. We will register you on our system and send you a confirmation email.
KEYS (FOR CAT SITTING & DOG COLLECTION) During our introductory visit we will need to collect a spare set of working keys. We keep them securely locked away with no identifying labels. If you do require your keys back please note that we do not leave keys in your home on our last booked cat sitting visit. In addition to being a security risk, should your return home be delayed for any reason, we would not be able to help. Once you are home we would be happy to drop your keys to you when we are next passing.
PAYMENT INFORMATION Payment is required no later than the day of the first pet visit. You can pay straight into the PETS AND THE CITY account (we will advise you of our account number and sort code) or we are more than happy to accept cash. We do not accept credit cards or payments by Paypal.
SCHOOL HOLIDAYS AND CHRISTMAS BOOKING We are in great demand at certain times of the year, Christmas, New Year and school holidays in particular so book early at these times to avoid disappointment.
BEFORE YOU GO Please drop us an email if there are any points we did not discuss when you booked, or if there are any changes from the regular regime or medication. We will endeavour to check about medication changes on each visit but we cannot be held responsible should you not inform us of changes.
WHILE YOU'RE AWAY If there is an emergency with your pet we will contact you and take your pet to the vet if necessary. Part of the registration is filling out a vet release form which authorises us to agree to treatment of your pet.
ON YOUR RETURN If you've been away, please email to let us know that you have returned and are able to resume caring for your pets. If we do not hear from you we will assume that you are home safely. Once you have let us know that you are home, we will arrange to return your keys to you unless we have your permission to keep them or alternative arrangements have been made.
Any occurrences not covered by the previous items will be dealt with in a professional way and with your pet’s best interests as our top priority.
